The Rost Martin RM1C is a 9mm Luger pistol with a 4″ hammer-forged barrel and a 15+1-round capacity. It is a double-action pistol with a polymer frame and Flat Dark Earth grips. The slide is black nitrocarburized steel, and the pistol is made in the USA.
A few features set it apart. It has an RMR plate, so you can mount a red dot optic without sending the slide out for milling. The magazine release is ambidextrous, which helps left-handed shooters. There is an accessory rail up front for a light or laser. The sights are white dot with a black serrated rear, so they are easy to pick up.
Size and handling
The RM1C weighs 21.1 oz and measures 7.1″ overall. That puts it in a handy range for a pistol with this much capacity. The Flat Dark Earth grip gives it a look that stands apart from the usual black pistols.
This pistol suits shooters who want a modern 9mm for the range, the nightstand, or training classes. Good gear to pair with it includes a holster that fits an accessory rail, extra 9mm magazines, a weapon light, a red dot optic that suits the RMR plate, and a basic cleaning kit. Pick range ammo for practice and a quality defensive load for personal protection.
