AAC 300-SD .300 Blackout Modular Suppressor — Black

The AAC 300-SD is a modular suppressor purpose-built for .300 Blackout — one of the most suppressor-optimized cartridges in existence. The 300-SD’s modular design allows configuration changes to suit different hosts and suppression goals, and it handles both subsonic and supersonic .300 BLK loads. Whether you’re running 220gr subsonic for hearing-safe report or 125gr supersonic for terminal performance, the 300-SD is built to perform across the full .300 Blackout spectrum. AAC’s American manufacturing and HUB-platform integration make this a top-tier choice for .300 BLK AR builds.

.300 Blackout: The Suppressor-Optimized Cartridge

.300 Blackout was engineered from the ground up for suppressed use. Its subsonic loads (typically 220gr+) produce hearing-safe report with a quality suppressor even without ear protection. The 300-SD’s modular design allows you to optimize for either subsonic suppression performance or overall system length for supersonic use. No other common AR cartridge is as natively suited for the suppressed role as .300 Blackout.

FAQ

Where is AAC made? AAC (Advanced Armament Corporation) is an American suppressor manufacturer with deep roots in the NFA industry. Their suppressors are made in the USA.

What NFA process does Western Sport use? We handle BATFE Form 4 e-File, fingerprints, and coordination for your suppressor transfer. Under OBBBA, the $200 tax stamp is now $0. Current ATF approval times vary — see our NFA wait times guide.

Do HUB suppressors require a muzzle device? The HUB mount version requires a compatible HUB blast diffuser, ratchet brake, or flash hider (sold separately). Direct thread versions thread directly onto the barrel with no separate device needed.

Buying a suppressor now: a Form 4473 and a background check. No Form 4.

Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints, photos or registration to buy a suppressor. It transfers like any other firearm: you fill out a Form 4473, pass a NICS background check, and it is yours. No months-long wait.

  • Texas buyers: suppressors are legal under Texas law. Western Sport has been an SOT / Class III dealer since 2007.
  • Outside Texas: we ship to an SOT dealer in your state, who completes the 4473 with you. Your state’s law still decides — some states ban suppressors, and some only allow ones registered with ATF.
  • Want it registered anyway? ATF still accepts a voluntary Form 4. Ask us.
