American Tactical Firefly .22 LR Pistol, 4″ Barrel, 10+1-Round, GERG2210FFM

Product Description

The American Tactical Firefly is a .22 LR pistol with a 4″ fixed barrel and a 10+1-round capacity. It uses a single-stack magazine, and one magazine is included. The overall length is 7.2″, and the weight is 24.6 oz, so it is easy to carry to the range and easy to hold steady.

The Firefly stands out for its mint green slide finish on a polymer frame with polymer grips. It has an ambidextrous thumb safety, so left-handed and right-handed shooters can work the same control. The action is double action. The sights are adjustable, which lets you tune the point of impact to your ammunition.

A Picatinny rail sits on the frame. That gives you a place to mount a light or laser if you want one.

Who it suits

A .22 LR pistol is a natural choice for learning fundamentals, because the round is mild and the ammunition is easy to find. The Firefly fits that role well. It also works for informal target shooting, trail days, and teaching a friend or family member how to handle a pistol safely.

For gear, start with eye and ear protection and a box of .22 LR ammunition. Add paper or reactive targets, a padded pistol case, and a basic cleaning kit. Rimfire guns benefit from regular cleaning. If you plan to shoot long sessions, a loading aid for the magazine saves your thumb.
