Auto Ordnance 1911 STS .45ACP Pistol, 5″ Barrel, 7-Round

Product Description

The Auto Ordnance 1911 STS is a semi-auto .45ACP pistol with a 5″ barrel and a 7-round capacity. It has a stainless steel frame and a stainless slide finish. Overall length is 8.60 inches, and the pistol weighs 39 oz.

The sights are combat 3-dot day sights. You get a white dot on the front blade and one on each side of the rear notch, so lining up a shot is quick in good light. The pistol also has a manual safety, which gives you a clear way to control the gun when it is loaded.

Who it suits

This pistol fits shooters who like the .45ACP cartridge and want a stainless gun that is simple to read and operate. It works for range sessions, practice, and anyone building a home-use or carry setup around a larger-caliber handgun. The 5″ barrel gives a longer sight radius than a shorter-barreled pistol, which helps with accuracy at the bench or on the line.

Gear that pairs well includes a holster made for a 5″ .45ACP pistol, spare magazines, a range bag, and a cleaning kit sized for .45 caliber. Add eye and ear protection and a few boxes of .45ACP ammunition for the first trip out. The pistol ships to your local FFL for transfer.
