Product Description
Barnes VOR-TX Lrx .270 Win ammo is a centerfire rifle load with a 129 gr LRX Boat Tail bullet and a muzzle velocity of 3140 fps. Each box holds 20 rounds.
The main thing that sets this load apart is the bullet. It is lead-free, and it uses the LRX Boat Tail design from Barnes. That matters to hunters who hunt in areas that restrict lead, or who simply prefer to carry a lead-free round in the field.
Who it suits
This ammo is made for anyone with a rifle chambered in .270 Win. It fits hunters who want a 129 gr bullet moving at 3140 fps. It is a hunting load, so it makes sense to sight in with it before the season rather than assume it will land where your old ammo did. Rifles can be fussy, and a few shots at the range will tell you what yours likes.
Gear that goes well with it includes a bolt-action or other .270 Win hunting rifle, a rifle scope, a sling, and a bipod or shooting sticks for steadier shots. A rangefinder helps when you need to judge distance in open country. A cartridge belt slide or a plastic ammo case keeps the box protected in a pack. Buy a few boxes if you want enough for practice and for the hunt.
