What sets it apart
The barrel is a 3 profile SUB-MOA design with a 1:10″ twist, and Bergara backs the rifle with a SUB-MOA guarantee. The action uses a B14 two lug bolt with a sliding plate extractor. Ignition comes from an internal hammer firing system, and the Bergara curved trigger gives you a familiar, comfortable pull surface. A 2 position safety sits on the receiver. The hinged floorplate magazine holds 3+1 rounds, and one magazine is included.
This rifle suits hunters who want a magnum cartridge in a classic wood stock instead of a synthetic one. The Monte Carlo comb is shaped for shooting with a scope. It also fits anyone building a long-range hunting setup around the .300 Win Mag.
The rifle has no sights, but it is drilled and tapped. Plan on adding a scope, along with rings and bases that match the receiver. A sling, a bipod and a good supply of .300 Win Mag ammunition round out the kit for field use.
