Bergara Hunter 7mm PRC Bolt-Action Rifle, 22″ Barrel

Product Description

The Bergara Hunter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC with a 22″ stainless fluted barrel. The barrel has a grey Cerokote finish, and the rifle is 42″ long overall. The magazine holds 3+1 rounds and uses a hinged floorplate.

What sets it apart

The barrel is threaded, and the rifle is suppressor ready. That means you can run a suppressor or other muzzle device without changing the barrel. The action uses a B14 two lug bolt with an internal hammer firing system. The trigger is the Bergara curved style, and the safety has 2 positions. The barrel has a 1:8″ twist, and Bergara backs the rifle with a SUB-MOA guarantee. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounts.

The stock is a black and grey webbing synthetic. It suits field use where a wood stock might not be the best choice.

This rifle suits hunters who want a 7mm PRC for big game at longer range. It has no sights, so plan on adding a scope. Pick rings and bases to match the receiver. A sling and a bipod are sensible additions for carrying and for steady shots in the field. If you want to use the threaded barrel, add a suppressor or muzzle brake. Choose 7mm PRC hunting ammunition that fits your game and your 1:8″ twist.
