Browning AB3 Pro Composite SPR .30-06 Sprg Bolt-Action Rifle

Product Description

Browning AB3 Pro Composite SPR is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Sprg with an 18″ sporter contour barrel. It feeds from a detachable box magazine and holds 4+1 rounds. The barrel has a 1:10″ twist rate.

The barrel and the bolt are both spiral fluted. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and wears a thread protector, so the rifle is ready for a suppressor or other muzzle device that uses that thread. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics mounting. The safety sits on the tang. The finish is matte blue, and the stock is gray composite with textured grip panels.

Who it suits

At 38.75″ overall, this rifle is a fit for hunters who want a compact bolt gun in a classic big-game cartridge. It works well for walking through timber, riding in a truck, or working from a blind. The textured panels give your hands a firm hold in cold or wet weather.

This rifle has no sights, so plan on adding an optic. A hunting scope with matching bases and rings is the obvious first step. A sling, a suppressor sized for the 5/8×24 muzzle thread, and a spare magazine are common additions. Since the barrel is already threaded, you can add a muzzle device later without any gunsmithing to the barrel.
