The Browning BAR MK IV Hunter is a semi-automatic hunting rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. It has a 22″ barrel, a matte blued finish, a walnut stock and a 4-round magazine.
It is a good fit for deer, hog and coyote hunters, and for younger or recoil-shy hunters who want a light-kicking cartridge in a classic walnut Browning.
Action and barrel
The semi-auto action loads the next round on its own, so a second shot is ready fast. With the mild .243 Win, the rifle stays steady between shots. The 22″ barrel keeps it easy to handle in a box blind or a tower stand.
Add a scope and mounts made for the BAR MK IV, .243 Win hunting ammunition, and a sling. A pull-through bore cleaner sized for .243 makes quick work of cleaning at camp.
