Browning BAR MK IV Hunter .308 Win Semi-Auto Rifle, 22″ Barrel, Black

Product Description

The Browning BAR MK IV Hunter is a semi-auto hunting rifle chambered in .308 Winchester with a 22″ barrel. It feeds from a detachable box magazine that holds 4 rounds. The stock is walnut, and the metalwork has a matte blued finish in black.

What sets it apart

The BAR runs on gas piston operation. A high-strength seven-lug bolt locks the action, and an integral buffering system is built in to reduce stress and wear. The matte blued finish is non-reflective, so the barreled action does not throw glare while you are in the field.

This rifle suits the hunter who wants a quick second shot without giving up traditional looks. The walnut stock and blued steel give it a classic profile, and the semi-auto action fits shooters who prefer an autoloader to a bolt gun. The .308 Winchester chambering also makes ammunition easy to find in many hunting loads.

Gear that pairs well with it includes a hunting scope with mounts made for this rifle, a sling, extra magazines, and a padded rifle case for transport. Pick .308 Winchester hunting ammunition that matches the game you are after. A basic cleaning kit rounds out the setup.
