Browning Citori CX 12 Gauge Break-Action Shotgun, 28″ Barrel

Product Description

The Browning Citori CX is a 12 Gauge over/under break-action shotgun with 28″ barrels. It holds 2 rounds and has a 3″ chamber, so it handles the shells most 12 gauge shooters want to run.

The stock is American Walnut, and the metalwork has a polished blued finish. The look is traditional. The sights are an ivory bead up front and a mid-bead in the rear, which is the simple setup most people expect on a gun built for pointing and swinging rather than aiming.

Fit and Handling

Length of pull is 14.25″, and the gun is right-handed. Overall length is 45″. It weighs 8.1 lbs, which is a solid weight for a 28″ over/under. That heft can help smooth out a swing on clays and on longer walks in the field. The choke set is F, M and IC, so you can match the constriction to the target or the game.

This shotgun suits shooters who like an over/under for trap, skeet, sporting clays or upland hunting. A break action is also easy to check. Open it and you can see right away whether the chambers are empty.

Good gear to pair with it includes a hard or soft gun case, a shell pouch or shooting vest, quality ear and eye protection, and a basic shotgun cleaning kit. Add a box of shells that suits your choke and your target.
