The Browning Citori Grand Lightning is a 12 gauge break-action shotgun with 28″ back-bored, vent-top barrels. It holds two rounds and has a 3″ chamber, so it handles standard and 3-inch 12 gauge shells.
The barrels wear a polished blue finish. A vent top rib sits above them, with an ivory bead out front for a simple point-and-shoot sight picture. The stock is satin Grade V/VI walnut, which gives the gun a figured, traditional look. Overall length is 46″.
Trigger and chokes
The Grand Lightning uses a single selective gold trigger. You pick which barrel fires first, and the trigger stays the same for both shots. Three extended Inv+ chokes are listed: Improved Cylinder, Modified and Full. That range lets you open up for close targets or tighten the pattern for longer shots.
This gun fits clay shooters working skeet, sporting clays or trap, and upland hunters who want a classic two-barrel gun. Good gear to pair with it includes a hard or soft gun case, shell pouches, a choke tube wrench, eye and ear protection, and a box of target loads for the clay field. Since it ships to your local FFL as a firearm, you can have gear ready before you pick it up.
