The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .243 Win, with a 22″ barrel and a 4-round capacity. It is a hunting rifle in plain form, made for time in the field rather than for show.
The barrel carries a 1:10″ twist, and the finish is listed as BI-TONE. The stock is described as two-tone gray laminate. A 22″ barrel is a familiar length for a general-purpose hunting rifle. It is long enough to be useful and short enough to carry through brush and into a blind.
Who it suits
The .243 Win is a popular choice for hunters who want mild recoil, and that makes this rifle a fit for newer shooters and for anyone who likes a rifle that is easy to shoot well. A bolt action keeps the operation simple, and the 4-round capacity is plenty for a day of hunting.
Plan on adding a scope, since optics are the main thing to pair with a rifle like this. You will also want a set of rings and bases that match the receiver, a sling for carrying, and a padded case or soft sleeve for transport. A bipod or shooting sticks can help with steadier shots in the field. Pick up a cleaning kit sized for the caliber as well.
