Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC with a 24" free-floating, hand-chambered barrel. It is for hunters who want a threaded 7mm PRC with a gray laminate stock and plan to mount their own optic.
The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC, built around a 24″ free-floating, hand-chambered barrel with a 1:8″ twist. Overall length is 44.75″. It holds 3+1 rounds.
A few features set this rifle apart. The bolt has a short throw with a 60-degree lift, which gives you more room around the scope when you cycle it. The trigger is adjustable. The barrel is threaded M13x.75 and comes with a muzzle brake, so you can swap in another device that fits those threads. The action is drilled and tapped, and the rifle has no sights.
Who it suits
This rifle fits hunters who want a 7mm PRC they can set up their own way. The gray laminate hunter stock and tang safety give it a traditional feel. It uses a detachable rotary magazine, and one magazine is included.
Because it ships without sights, plan on a scope, plus rings and bases that match the drilled and tapped action. A sling, a bipod, and hearing protection for the brake are sensible add-ons. Extra magazines and a hard case or padded soft case round out the kit.
