The Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC, with a 24″ free-floating, hand-chambered barrel. The barrel has a 1:8″ twist. It is a hunting rifle first, and the details show it.
The stock is Grade V/VI walnut, with a rosewood forend and grip cap. The metalwork has a matte blue carbon fiber finish. The bolt has a short 60 degree lift, so you can cycle it without moving your head off the stock. The trigger is adjustable, and the safety is on the tang.
Built for a scope and a suppressor
This rifle has no sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped, so you add your own optic. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and comes with a muzzle brake. It is also suppressor ready, so you can swap the brake for a suppressor if you run one. Feed comes from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds. Overall length is 44.75″.
It suits hunters who want a 7mm PRC for elk, mule deer or pronghorn, and long-range shooters who like a classic walnut stock. Pair it with a quality scope and mounts, a sling for long walks, and a bipod or shooting rest for the bench. If you plan to run a suppressor, check that it matches the 5/8×24 threading.
