The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed is a .300 PRC bolt-action rifle with a 26″ fluted, free-floating barrel. The barrel has a 1:10″ twist. It feeds from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds, and one magazine is included.
The “Speed” name points to the short-throw bolt. It lifts 60 degrees, which gives you more clearance around a scope and a quicker cycle between shots. The trigger is adjustable, and the safety is a tang-mounted type. The rifle comes without sights, so you will need an optic.
Built for the field
The Vari-Tech stock and the Cerakote finish are both Flat Dark Earth. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and carries a muzzle brake, with a thread protector for when the brake is off. That makes the rifle suppressor ready. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases. Overall length is 46.75″.
This rifle suits hunters who take long shots at big game and shooters who want a .300 PRC for long-range work. A good scope with matching bases and rings is the first thing to add. A sling, a bipod, a suppressor that fits the 5/8×24 threads, and a hard case round out the setup. Match your ammunition to the 1:10″ twist and the .300 PRC chambering.
