The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed is a .308 Win bolt-action rifle with a 22″ fluted, free-floating barrel. The barrel has a 1:10″ twist and wears a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish. Overall length is 42″. A detachable rotary magazine holds 4+1 rounds, and the safety sits on the tang.
The stock is where this rifle stands out. The Vari-Tech stock comes with 2 grip modules, and it adjusts for length of pull, comb height and grip angle. That lets you set the rifle up for your own frame instead of settling for a fixed fit. The DLX trigger is a multi-lever design and is adjustable too.
Built for an optic
This rifle has no sights, so you will want to mount a scope. It is drilled and tapped for that. The barrel is threaded, and the muzzle has a target crown along with a muzzle brake. The bolt is made to run smoothly through each cycle.
It fits hunters who want a .308 Win for deer-sized game, and bench or range shooters who like to tune their gear. Good pairings include a rifle scope with matching rings and bases, a sling for carrying in the field, a bipod or shooting rest, and a padded case for transport.
