The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed is a .308 Win bolt-action rifle with a 22″ fluted, free-floating barrel. Overall length is 42″. The barrel has a 1:10″ twist. Ammunition feeds from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 4+1 rounds.
What sets it apart
This model is built around a short-throw bolt with a 60-degree lift. The trigger is adjustable, and the safety sits on the tang. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and comes with a muzzle brake and a thread protector. That makes the rifle suppressor ready. The finish is Flat Dark Earth Cerakote, and it sits in a Vari-Tech stock in a matching Flat Dark Earth color.
The rifle has no sights, so you will need to add an optic. It is drilled and tapped for that. This setup fits hunters who want a .308 Win with a short bolt lift. It also suits range shooters who like a threaded barrel and an adjustable trigger.
For gear, start with a scope plus matching bases and rings. A sling and a bipod are common additions. If you plan to run a suppressor, check that its mount fits 5/8×24 threads. Pick up spare magazines and .308 Win ammunition to finish the kit.
