The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon Fiber is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC. It has a 24″ fluted, free-floating barrel with a 1:7″ twist, and the overall length is 44″. The finish is Tungsten Cerakote.
The fit is where this rifle stands out. The Vari-Tech stock comes with 2 grip modules, and length of pull, comb height and grip angle all adjust. The DLX trigger is adjustable too. You can set the rifle up to suit your frame and your shooting position instead of working around it. The bolt is described as smooth, and the safety sits on the tang.
Built for Optics and Muzzle Devices
This rifle has no sights, so you will need to add an optic. The receiver is drilled and tapped for that. A good scope with matching rings and bases is the first purchase. A bipod or a rear bag helps from the bench or a prone position in the field.
The muzzle is threaded M13x.75. That lets you fit a brake, a thread protector or another muzzle device with the same thread. Feeding is from a detachable box magazine that holds 3+1 rounds. It suits hunters after elk, deer or pronghorn at distance. It also suits shooters who want a 6.5 PRC platform they can tune. Pair it with a sling, a rifle case and a rangefinder for a complete field kit.
