The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC with a 20″ fluted, free-floating barrel. The barrel has a 1:8″ twist and a target crown. A muzzle brake is fitted, and the barrel is threaded. Overall length is 40.75″, which keeps it handy in a blind, a truck, or on a pack-in hunt.
The stock is a Vari-Tech design that comes with 2 grip modules. Length of pull, comb height, and grip angle all adjust, so you can set the rifle to fit you instead of the other way around. The finish is Smoked Bronze Cerakote. The trigger is a multi-lever DLX adjustable unit, and the safety sits on the tang. Feeding comes from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds.
Who it suits
This rifle fits hunters who want a short, flat-shooting magnum-class chambering and a stock they can tune. It also works for shooters who like to build a precision setup at the range. The rifle has no sights, and it is drilled and tapped for scope bases.
Plan on a quality scope with matching rings and bases. A bipod, a sling, and a rangefinder round out a field kit. Stock up on 7mm PRC ammunition for load testing, and keep a spare magazine handy. If you plan to swap the muzzle brake for another device, check the thread size before you order.
