The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR is a bolt-action rifle in 7mm PRC with a 20″ fluted, free-floating barrel. The barrel has a 1:8″ twist, a target crown and a muzzle brake. It is also threaded, so you have options at the muzzle. Overall length is 40″.
The stock is the Vari-Tech in Kryptek Obskura camo, and it comes with 2 grip modules. Length of pull, comb height and grip angle all adjust, which lets you set the rifle to your frame instead of bending to fit it. The metal wears a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish.
Trigger, magazine and safety
The trigger is the multi-lever DLX design and it is adjustable. The safety sits on the tang. Rounds feed from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds, so a quick reload is a magazine swap.
This rifle has no sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped, so plan on mounting an optic. Buyers usually pair it with a quality scope, matching rings and bases, a sling and a bipod. Add a hard case for travel and 7mm PRC ammunition for load testing at the range. If you want to run a suppressor or other muzzle device, the threaded barrel allows for that.
It suits hunters who want a short barrel in a long-range cartridge and care about fit and trigger feel.
