The Browning XB2 HT Comp is a 6.5 PRC bolt-action rifle with a 24″ free-floating barrel. The barrel is hand chambered, has a 1:7″ twist and finishes with a target crown. The muzzle is threaded, so you can fit a compatible muzzle device.
What sets it apart
The black Vari-Tech composite stock is adjustable and uses two grip modules, so you can tune the fit to your build and shooting position. The DLX trigger is adjustable too. A tang safety sits behind the action. Rounds feed from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds. The metalwork has a low luster blued finish, and overall length is 44″.
This rifle suits shooters who want 6.5 PRC for distance work, whether that is steel at the range, precision practice or a hunt. It has no sights, but the rifle is drilled and tapped, so you can mount the optic you prefer.
Plan on a scope, a set of mounts and rings, and a bipod or shooting rest. A spare magazine is handy for range sessions. If you want a suppressor or brake, check that it fits the threaded muzzle before you order. A padded rifle case and good 6.5 PRC ammunition round out the setup.
