Product Description

The Charter Arms Bulldog is a .44 S&W Spl revolver with a 2.5″ barrel and a 5-round cylinder. It has a small steel frame and a stainless steel finish. Weight is 19 oz, and overall length is 7.32″.

What sets the Bulldog apart

This is a double-action-only revolver with a concealed hammer. There is no spur to cock and nothing to catch on a cover garment when you draw. The cylinder locks up at three points, and the ejector rod is shrouded. The rubber grips have finger grooves, and the sights are fixed.

The Bulldog suits a shooter who wants a short, straightforward revolver. Carry is one use. A nightstand or truck gun is another. You pull the trigger and it fires, with no manual safety to manage and no hammer to set.

For gear, start with a holster cut for a small-frame revolver with a 2.5″ barrel. Add a box of .44 S&W Special ammunition, a cleaning kit sized for .44 caliber, and a safe or lock box for storage. Eye and ear protection are worth having for the range.
