Christensen Arms Mesa Long Range .300 PRC Bolt-Action Rifle, 801-02016-00

Product Description

The Christensen Arms Mesa Long Range is a .300 PRC bolt-action rifle built around a 26″ barrel. The barrel is button rifled, free floating and has a 1:8″ twist. The action has a match chamber and an enlarged ejection port, which makes loading and clearing rounds easier.

The stock is carbon fiber composite in black with gray webbing, and the metalwork wears a Tungsten Cerakote finish. Length of pull is 13.5″ and overall length is 48″. The TriggerTech trigger breaks between 2.5 and 3.5 lb. The safety is a 2 position design, and the magazine holds 3+1 rounds with a hinged floorplate.

Muzzle and optics setup

The barrel is threaded and comes with a seamless side baffle brake on the muzzle. The thread pitch is 5/8×24, so it suits shooters who plan to run a different muzzle device later. The rifle has no sights. It is drilled and tapped, so you mount a scope base of your choice and add the optic that fits your shooting.

This rifle suits long-range target work and big-game hunting where .300 PRC makes sense. Good companions include a quality long-range scope, a bipod or rear bag for support, a sturdy rifle case and a spare supply of match-grade ammunition for load testing. Because the rifle ships to your local FFL, pick a dealer close to you before checkout.
