If you hunt elk, mule deer, or antelope across open country and demand a rifle you can carry all day, this is your platform.

About Christensen Arms

Founded in 1995 in Gunnison, Utah, Christensen Arms pioneered production carbon fiber–wrapped barrel technology and remains the gold standard for lightweight precision rifles. Their proprietary process wraps aerospace-grade carbon fiber around a match-grade stainless steel barrel core, dramatically reducing weight while maintaining the rigidity and thermal stability needed for repeatable accuracy. Every Christensen rifle is made in the USA and engineered to deliver sub-MOA performance in a package that doesn’t exhaust you on long hunts.

Key Specifications

The Mesa FFT Platform

The Mesa FFT slots between Christensen’s entry-level Evoke and their flagship Ridgeline FFT, offering the same carbon fiber barrel engineering at a more accessible price point. You’re getting a true 6.8 lb rifle with real accuracy — not a compromise platform. The 22″ barrel optimizes the 7mm PRC’s ballistic potential while keeping the rifle packable; the threaded muzzle accepts suppressors, brakes, or cans for field flexibility. The Green Mountain polymer stock is weather-resistant and lightweight, designed for hunters who demand reliability without fuss.

The 7mm PRC itself is the caliber choice for modern hunters: flat trajectory, excellent wind-bucking, and lethal energy out to 500+ yards on elk and mule deer. Pair that with the Mesa FFT’s sub-7 lb weight and you have a rifle that handles steep terrain, long glassing days, and the moment of truth. The Rem 700 pattern action is the industry standard for aftermarket support, and the AICS magazine system ensures reliable feeding in the field. Built for Western hunters who refuse to choose between light weight and magnum performance.
