Product Description
The Cobratec Knives King Pin is a fixed blade knife with a 4″ blade made from D2 steel. This version is the orange King Pin, model CTKPORG.
A fixed blade has no hinge and no lock to fail. The blade and handle are one solid unit, which makes the knife easy to clean and simple to trust for cutting, carving and camp chores. The handle is G-10 composite, a laminate material that is commonly used on working knives.
Who it suits
A 4″ blade is a practical size. It is long enough for food prep, cutting cord and making feather sticks, and short enough to carry on a belt without getting in the way. That makes the King Pin a fit for campers, hikers, hunters and anglers. It also works as a utility knife for a truck, a toolbox or a go-bag.
The orange handle is easy to spot if you set the knife down in leaves, grass or a cluttered bench.
For gear, think about how you plan to carry it. A sturdy belt, a sheath that fits a 4″ fixed blade and a sharpening stone are the usual add-ons. A fire starter, a headlamp and a small first-aid kit round out a basic field pack.
