Cobratec Knives OTF Utility Automatic Double Action OTF, CTOTFUTODG

Product Description

The Cobratec Knives OTF Utility is an automatic double action out-the-front knife with a 1-inch utility blade. The blade fires straight out of the handle and retracts back in, so it works with one hand. The model number is CTOTFUTODG, and it belongs to the CTK series.

This one is built around a utility blade, not a point-first tactical profile. The edge is plain, and the blade is replaceable, so a dull blade does not end the knife’s working life. The handle is 6061-T6 aluminum finished in OD Green. A Kinetic Locking System holds the blade in place when it is open.

Size and carry

Closed, the knife measures 3.37 inches. Open, it runs 5.12 inches overall. It weighs 3.2 oz, which is light enough to forget in a pocket or on a bag strap. The short blade suits daily chores: opening packages, trimming tape, cutting cord and breaking down cardboard at the range or in the shop.

It fits a buyer who wants an automatic for utility work and does not need a long blade. It pairs well with a range bag, a small belt pouch, a tool roll or a truck kit. It also sits well next to a flashlight and a multi-tool in an everyday carry setup. Automatic knives are regulated differently from state to state, so check the rules where you live before you carry one.
