Colt’s Manufacturing 1911 Government Engraver .38 Super ACP +P Pistol

Product Description

The Colt’s Manufacturing 1911 Government Engraver is a single-action .38 Super Auto +P pistol with a 5″ barrel. It is built on a Government-size steel frame and has a blue slide finish. The single-stack magazine holds 9 rounds, with one more in the chamber, and one magazine is included.

What Sets It Apart

This is the Engravers Model, and the slide carries no roll marks. The grips are wood with a double diamond pattern. The pistol uses an external hammer and has a manual safety, so the controls will feel familiar to anyone who has run a Government-size 1911. It measures 8.5″ overall and weighs 35 oz.

This pistol suits collectors and 1911 shooters who want the .38 Super cartridge in a classic single-action layout. It also fits buyers who like a clean slide without factory markings. Check the barrel and the owner’s manual for ammunition guidance before you shoot it.

Gear that pairs well with it includes a holster made for a Government-size 1911 with a 5″ barrel, extra single-stack magazines, a cleaning kit, and a lockable case for storage or transport.
