The Cascade XT comes ready for a scope but not for iron sights. The rifle has no sights, and the receiver has an integral Picatinny mount with 0 MOA. It is also drilled and tapped. The barrel is threaded and carries an Omni muzzle brake on 11/16×24 threads, so you can run the brake or swap in another device that fits those threads.
Controls and Handling
The Cascade stock has a length-of-pull adjustment, so you can fit it to your frame. The bolt has an oversized knob that is easy to find with gloves on. The Cascade trigger is adjustable and fires from an internal hammer. The safety is a 2 position design. A hinged floorplate magazine holds 3+1 rounds.
This rifle suits hunters in states that call for straight-wall cartridges, and anyone who wants a .450 Bushmaster in a bolt gun. Pair it with a scope and a sling, plus a case sized for a 22″ barrel. Add .450 Bushmaster ammunition for sighting in and practice.
