The Daniel Defense DDM4 GL/SSC SBR, No Magazine is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO NFA short-barrelled rifle with a 12.5" Government profile cold hammer forged barrel, 1:7 twist, carbine-length gas system on a low profile gas block, the free-floating GL/SSC RIS II rail in FDE, a Timney AXCESS fire control group and a Daniel Defense flash hider — built as the SKU Daniel Defense ships without a magazine.
Daniel Defense produces this no-magazine part number so the rifle can reach customers in states that restrict magazine capacity. A rifle packed with a standard-capacity magazine cannot lawfully be shipped into every jurisdiction, and rather than have dealers unpack and repackage guns, the factory builds the SKU without one. Nothing else changes: same barrel, same rail, same trigger, same muzzle device.
