Daniel Defense DDM4 V9 Rifle, 5.56 NATO, No Magazine

Product Description

The Daniel Defense DDM4 V9 Rifle, part number 02-145-15175-067, is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO rifle on the AR-15 platform, supplied by Daniel Defense without a magazine.

The no-magazine configuration carries its own part number so the rifle can be sold into states and localities where magazine capacity is limited, with a compliant magazine supplied at the delivery end. If capacity is not restricted where you are, the standard DDM4 V9 is the listing you want — the rifle is the same either way.

Confirm your capacity limit, and the build

Capacity restrictions are set by your state and sometimes your locality and they do change, so verify what applies to you before ordering. We would also rather confirm this SKU’s exact configuration with you by phone than guess at it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does the no-magazine DDM4 V9 part number mean?

A: It means Daniel Defense builds this SKU with no magazine supplied.

Q: Is this a different rifle from the standard V9?

A: No, it is the same rifle built the same way. The only distinction between the two part numbers is that this one arrives without a magazine. Anyone who does not need that should order the standard V9 listing instead.

Q: Can you confirm the V9’s barrel length and rail?

Daniel Defense configures the DDM4 line in several closely related builds and we would rather check than publish the wrong figure.

Q: Who typically buys this configuration?

A: Mostly buyers in jurisdictions that cap magazine capacity, and the dealers serving them. It is also ordered by people who already own magazines and simply do not want another, though the capacity rules are the main reason the SKU exists.

Q: How do I get a magazine that is legal where I live?

A: Confirm the current limit for your state and locality yourself, since those rules vary and change. We do not advise on the law itself.

Q: Is an FFL needed to take delivery?

A: Yes. This is a rifle, so the transfer has to be completed by a licensed FFL. Western Sport is a licensed FFL/SOT dealer, and can either transfer it to you at our counter or ship it to your dealer.
