The Diamondback Firearms DB15 is a semi-auto AR-style rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16″ barrel. The barrel is 4150 chrome moly with a 1:8″ twist, and the finish is matte black. Overall length is 32.75″.
The rifle runs on a direct impingement system with a mid-length gas system. It has a forward assist, a dust cover and a manual safety. The barrel is threaded and wears a Diamondback CNC muzzle device, so you have a starting point if you want to change the muzzle later. Capacity is 10+1 rounds, and it feeds from polymer AR-style magazines.
Stock, rail and optics
The stock is a Magpul CTR, paired with a MOE K2 grip. Up front, an M-LOK rail gives you slots for a light, a vertical grip or a sling mount. The top has an integral Picatinny mount at 0 MOA. The rifle has no sights, so plan on an optic or a set of flip-up sights from day one.
This rifle suits range shooters, home-defense builders and anyone putting together a first AR with a solid base. Good companions include a red dot or low-power variable optic, a two-point sling, extra AR-style magazines, M-LOK accessories and a basic cleaning kit. If you are looking at muzzle devices, check the thread pitch with the maker first.
