The Diamondback Firearms DB15 Obs is a 5.56 NATO semi-auto AR pistol with an 11.5″ barrel. It runs on a direct impingement system with a carbine gas system. The barrel is chrome moly with a 1:8″ twist, and overall length is 28.25″.
What sets it apart
The frame is forged 7075 T6 aluminum, finished in OD Green Cerakote. Up front you get an 11 inch aluminum M-LOK rail with full Picatinny and QD mounts. The barrel is threaded at 1/2×28 and wears an Obsidian muzzle brake. In back there is an SBA5 brace, and the grip is a MOE K2. A manual safety is fitted, and the trigger is a standard one.
This pistol has no sights. The A3 flattop gives you a place to mount an optic, so plan on adding a red dot or a low-power scope. One Gen M3 PMAG 30-round polymer magazine is included.
It fits shooters who like a short 5.56 pistol for the range, training, or a truck gun build. Good add-ons include a sling on the QD mounts, a light or laser on the M-LOK slots, and extra 30-round AR magazines. Check your state and local rules on brace-equipped pistols before you order.
