Fortis Manufacturing, Inc. Night Rail, 16″, Black

Product Description

The Fortis Night Rail 556 16 inch AR15 handguard is a premium free-float rail system designed for shooters who demand accuracy and reliability. Its sleek black finish suits any tactical or sporting build. Furthermore, the M-LOK mounting interface provides unlimited customization options for lights, grips, and accessories.

Free-float construction isolates the barrel from the handguard entirely. As a result, your rifle achieves optimal accuracy and consistency shot after shot. The M-LOK slots run along the entire length for precise accessory mounting. Therefore, you can attach gear exactly where you need it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the Fortis Night Rail 556 fit my AR15 receiver?

A: Yes, this rail fits all standard AR15 upper receivers with .936-inch diameter barrel extensions. Additionally, it is compatible with both mil-spec and commercial tube profiles. Therefore, most modern AR15s will accept it without modification.

Q: What does free-float mean and why does it matter for accuracy?

A: Free-float means the handguard does not touch the barrel at any point. As a result, barrel vibrations do not transfer to the rail, improving accuracy significantly. Moreover, you will see tighter shot groups and more consistent performance on the range.

Q: Can I attach M-LOK accessories to this handguard?

A: Absolutely. M-LOK is an industry standard attachment system used by thousands of manufacturers. Furthermore, you can mount lights, vertical grips, sling attachments, and more.
