The 5.7x28mm cartridge is small-bore, high-velocity, and inherently subsonic-capable in specialty loads — the Nebula is purpose-optimized for this unique caliber’s bore diameter and pressure characteristics.

5.7x28mm Suppressor Notes
The 5.7x28mm is a small, high-velocity centerfire pistol/PDW cartridge. Unlike 9mm or .45 ACP, it is not inherently subsonic — the standard SS197SR and SS198LF loads are supersonic. For best hearing-safe results, use subsonic 5.7x28mm loads rated below 1,125 fps. The Nebula is bored for the 5.7mm diameter and not intended for larger caliber use.
