Howa USA Hunter .308 Win Bolt-Action Rifle, 22″ Barrel

Product Description

The Howa USA Hunter is a .308 Win bolt-action rifle with a 22″ stainless steel barrel. It holds 4+1 rounds in a hinged floorplate magazine, and the overall length is 41.5″.

The barrel has a 1:10″ twist and a threaded muzzle with 5/8×24 pitch, so the rifle is suppressor ready. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics mounting. It ships with no sights, so plan on adding a scope. The trigger is Howa’s HACT trigger, and the safety has 3 positions. Howa also backs the rifle with a Sub-MOA Guarantee.

Walnut stock for field use

The stock is Monte Carlo walnut with a 13.37″ length of pull. The Monte Carlo shape raises the comb to help line your eye up with a scope. Wood and stainless make a traditional hunting rifle.

This rifle fits big game hunters and range shooters who like the .308 Win cartridge. It also works for anyone who wants to add a suppressor later. Good companions are a scope with matching bases and rings, a sling, a bipod, and a muzzle device or suppressor that uses a 5/8×24 thread. Pick a quality .308 Win hunting load and sight the rifle in before the season.
