Mossberg 509R Standoff Pump-Action Shotgun, 18.5″ Barrel, 50757

Product Description

The Mossberg 509R Standoff is a pump-action shotgun with an 18.5″ barrel. It holds 6+1 rounds, so you get six in the magazine and one in the chamber before you need to reload.

Pump action means you cycle each round by hand. That keeps the gun simple to operate and easy to learn. The 18.5″ barrel keeps the overall gun shorter than a long field barrel, which many people prefer for moving around a house or a vehicle.

Who it suits

This shotgun fits the buyer who wants a straightforward pump gun for home defense, practice at the range or general use around the property. The 6+1 capacity gives you a solid load without a lot of complexity. If you already shoot pump guns, the controls and the manual cycling will feel familiar.

Gear that pairs well with it includes a sling, a side-saddle or butt-cuff shell carrier, eye and ear protection, and a basic cleaning kit. Check the markings on the barrel and receiver before you choose ammunition, and match the shells to what the gun is marked for. A secure case or lockbox rounds out the setup.

The manufacturer part number is 50757. Firearms ship to a local FFL of your choice for transfer.
