Mossberg Patriot Synthetic .400 Legend Bolt-Action Rifle, 20″ Barrel, 28250

Product Description

The Mossberg Patriot Synthetic is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .400 Legend, with a 20″ barrel. It carries a blue finish and a synthetic stock, and it holds 4+1 rounds.

The barrel has a 1:16″ twist rate. This model is also set up with a Vortex 3-9×40 scope, so the rifle and optic come matched for the same job. That saves you from picking out a scope and sorting through rings on your own.

Who it suits

This rifle suits shooters who want a bolt action in .400 Legend. The 20″ barrel keeps the rifle on the handy side for moving through the field or working from a blind. A 4+1 capacity is plenty for most hunting and range sessions. The synthetic stock fits a rifle that will see regular use outdoors.

Gear that pairs well starts with .400 Legend ammunition, since you will want a few boxes to sight in and practice. A sling makes carrying easier. A bipod or shooting sticks help steady the rifle for longer shots. A padded case protects it in transit, and a basic cleaning kit keeps the bore and bolt in good shape after a day out.

Like every firearm we sell, this rifle ships to a local FFL of your choice for transfer.
