Mossberg Patriot Vortex Scope .400 Legend Bolt-Action Rifle

Product Description

The Mossberg Patriot Vortex Scope is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .400 Legend, with a 20″ barrel and a 1:16″ twist. It holds 4+1 rounds and comes finished in matte blue.

What sets this version apart is the optic. The model name points to a Vortex scope, and the product description lists a 3-9×40 unit. That means the rifle and glass are matched as one package, so you are not sourcing a scope separately to get started.

Who it suits

A 20″ barrel keeps the rifle handy in a blind, a truck, or thick cover. The bolt action is simple to run and easy to learn. This rifle makes sense for a hunter stepping into .400 Legend, or for anyone who wants a scoped bolt gun for deer-season use and range time.

Plan on a few accessories. You will need .400 Legend ammunition, and a sling makes carrying easier in the field. A bipod or shooting rest helps with steady practice. A padded case protects the rifle in transit, and a basic cleaning kit keeps the bore in shape. A trigger lock or safe is a smart addition for home storage.

Because this is a firearm, it ships to a local FFL of your choice for transfer.
