Product Description
Nosler Match Grade .338 Lapua Mag 300 gr ammo is a box of 20 rifle cartridges with a muzzle velocity of 2650 fps. It is loaded for rifles chambered in .338 Lapua Mag and carries a 300 gr bullet.
What sets it apart
The bullet is a Custom Competition HPBT. HPBT stands for hollow point boat tail, a bullet shape built for target and match work. The Match Grade name points to competition use rather than casual plinking.
This ammo suits shooters who run a .338 Lapua Mag rifle at long range. That includes match shooters and anyone who wants to practice and confirm a zero with a competition-style bullet. Check the chamber marking on your rifle first. This cartridge only fits rifles chambered for .338 Lapua Mag.
A rifle in this caliber works best with solid support gear. A long-range scope, a bipod, and a rear bag help you settle in behind the rifle. A rangefinder and a ballistic app or drop chart help with your shot data. Hearing protection matters too, since this is a large magnum cartridge.
