Product Description
Remington HTP .45 Colt 230 gr Jacketed Hollow Point ammo is a box of 20 handgun cartridges with a muzzle velocity of 750 fps. Each cartridge carries a 230 gr jacketed hollow point bullet. The manufacturer part number is 23012.
What to know about this load
The hollow point nose is shaped to open up on impact. That is the main thing that sets this load apart from a plain round-nose or flat-point bullet. The two numbers to remember are 230 gr for bullet weight and 750 fps for muzzle velocity.
This ammo suits anyone who shoots a firearm chambered in .45 Colt and wants a jacketed hollow point in that caliber. Before you load anything, read the caliber marking on your barrel and check your owner’s manual. If both say .45 Colt, this box matches.
Gear that goes with it is simple. A holster or belt rig sized to your gun keeps it secure. Speed loaders or speed strips make reloading a revolver faster. Add eye and ear protection for the range, and keep spare boxes in a sturdy ammo can or case so they stay dry and organized.
