Remington Wheelgun .38 S&W 146 gr Lead Round Nose Ammo, 50 Rounds

Product Description

Remington Wheelgun .38 S&W ammo is a box of 50 cartridges loaded with a 146 gr lead round nose bullet, rated at 685 fps muzzle velocity. The name tells you the target audience: people who shoot revolvers.

The load is simple. A lead round nose bullet has a rounded profile and no jacket, and it is a familiar choice for revolver shooting. The 146 gr weight and 685 fps velocity are the numbers to match against what your gun is chambered for. Before you shoot it, check the chamber or barrel marking on your revolver and make sure it reads .38 S&W.

Who it suits

This ammo fits owners of .38 S&W revolvers who want a straightforward load for the range. It also suits anyone building up a supply of practice rounds for an older revolver that still sees regular use. The 50-round box is easy to store and easy to count out for a range trip.

For gear, start with eye and ear protection and a set of paper or steel targets. Speedloaders or loading strips made for your revolver help at the bench. Keep a bore brush, solvent, and cleaning patches nearby, since lead bullets leave residue in the barrel. A padded range bag or a lockable ammo can keeps the boxes organized at home and on the road.
