The Rost Martin RM1S is a 9mm Luger pistol with a 3.6″ hammer-forged barrel and a 12+1-round capacity. It is a double-action pistol built on a polymer frame, with a nitrocarburized steel slide and black polymer grips. It is made in the USA.
Several features set this pistol apart. The slide is cut for an RMR-footprint optic, so you can mount a red dot without a custom job. The magazine release is ambidextrous, which helps left-handed shooters and anyone who switches hands. The trigger has a flat face, and the grips are textured for extra grip. An accessory rail sits under the frame. Sights are a white dot front with a black serrated rear.
Who it suits
The RM1S fits shooters who want a compact-style 9mm with optic capability already built in. Two magazines come with the pistol, so you have a spare from day one. That makes it a sensible pick for concealed carry, a nightstand gun, or regular range sessions.
Good gear to pair with it includes a holster molded for the RM1S, a red dot sight that matches the RMR footprint, and a weapon light for the accessory rail. Add extra 9mm magazines and a box of range ammunition for practice, plus a quality carry round for defensive use.
