The Rost Martin RM1X Comp is a 9mm Luger pistol with a 4″ hammer-forged barrel and 17+1 capacity. The compensator is built into the barrel, so it is part of the pistol and not something you bolt on later. It is meant to help keep the muzzle down during fast strings.
Here is what sets it apart. The slide uses the RMR optic footprint, and an RMR plate is included. The controls are fully ambidextrous, so left-handed and right-handed shooters run the same pistol. The trigger has a flat face and an extra short reset. It has a double action trigger, a polymer frame with black polymer grips, and an accessory rail up front.
Size and Sights
The pistol weighs 23 oz and measures 7.1″ overall. The sights are white dot up front with a black serrated rear. Two magazines are included, which gives you plenty to start a range session.
This pistol fits shooters who want a full-capacity 9mm for the range, training classes or home defense, and who plan to add a red dot. Good companions include an RMR-footprint optic, a weapon light for the accessory rail, extra magazines, a quality holster and a steady supply of 9mm Luger ammunition for practice.
