Sig Sauer Tango DMR 3-18×44 Riflescope, Matte

Product Description

The Sig Sauer Tango DMR 3-18×44 Riflescope is a variable-power rifle scope with a 44mm objective and a 34mm tube. It comes in a matte finish.

The reticle is the main feature. It is an illuminated MOA Milling 2.0 design with a 2 MOA dot size, and it sits in the first focal plane. That means the reticle grows and shrinks with the zoom setting, so the subtensions stay true at any magnification. Illumination helps when the light is low or the target is dark.

Who it suits

The 3-18x range gives you a wide view up close and plenty of reach at the top end. Field of view runs from 34.7 at the low end of the zoom to 5.8 at the high end. That makes it a fit for precision rifle work, steel and long-range target shooting, and rifles set up in a designated marksman role.

Plan your mounting around the 34mm tube. You will need rings or a one-piece mount made for that diameter, and the right height for your rifle. A good set of 34mm rings, a solid bipod, and a rear bag are the usual pairings. A sunshade or flip-up lens covers are also worth a look if you shoot in bright conditions or bad weather.

If you are matching a scope to a rifle you already own, check the mounting base on the rifle first. Then choose rings that fit both the base and the tube.
