Taurus USA 1911 Commander .45 ACP Pistol, 4.25″ Barrel, 8+1-Round

Product Description

The Taurus USA 1911 Commander is a full-size, single-action .45 ACP pistol with a 4.25″ barrel. It holds 8+1 rounds and comes with one single stack magazine. Overall length is 7.9″, and the pistol weighs 34.5 oz.

This one has a few touches that set it apart. The slide has a matte black finish, and the pistol carries a custom US flag engraving. A bonded ivory inlay and Altamont Rosewood grips round out the look. It uses an external hammer and a manual safety, so it works the way a traditional 1911 should.

Sights and handling

The sights are Novak Drift Adjustable, front and rear. That lets you move the point of impact to match your load at the range. The single-action trigger system and single stack magazine keep the pistol familiar to anyone who has shot a 1911 before.

This pistol suits range shooters, collectors and anyone who wants a .45 with traditional lines and some personality. Good gear to pair with it includes a holster made for 1911-pattern pistols, extra 8-round magazines, a quality range bag, and a cleaning kit sized for .45 caliber. Stock up on .45 ACP ammunition for practice, and keep a mag loader handy for longer sessions.
