Taurus USA GX2 9mm Luger Pistol, 3.38″ Barrel, 13+1-Round, 1-GX2931DP

Product Description

The Taurus USA GX2 is a compact 9mm Luger pistol with a 3.38″ barrel and a 13+1-round capacity. It has an alloy steel frame and a dark purple slide, so it looks different from the usual black pistol on the rack. Two magazines are included.

The GX2 is striker-fired and uses a single action trigger. It also has a manual safety, which some shooters want on a pistol they carry. Sights are fixed white dot and drift adjustable, so you can move them side to side if the point of impact is off. A Picatinny rail up front gives you a place to mount a light.

Size and handling

The pistol is 6.19″ long overall and weighs 19.04 oz. That is a manageable size for a compact frame. The grips are textured polymer, which helps you keep a firm hold when your hands are damp or the gun is moving through a long string of fire.

This pistol suits new and experienced shooters who want a compact 9mm for carry, the range or the nightstand. For gear, start with a holster that fits a Picatinny-rail compact. Add a weapon light if you plan to use the rail, a few extra magazines, a range bag, and a basic 9mm cleaning kit. Practice ammunition is worth buying in volume so you can learn the sights and the manual safety before you carry it.
