Taurus USA Raging Hunter .357 Mag Revolver, 8.375″ Barrel, 7-Round

Product Description

The Taurus USA Raging Hunter is a double-action .357 Mag revolver with an 8.375″ ported barrel. It holds 7 rounds and has an external hammer, so you can fire it double action or cock the hammer for a single-action shot.

The long barrel gives the Raging Hunter a longer sight radius than a short-barrel revolver. The porting is cut into the barrel to help manage muzzle movement. The finish is black, and the revolver comes with fixed and adjustable sight options. Overall length is 14.1″, and weight is 55 oz. That is a full-size handgun, and the weight is part of how it is meant to handle.

Who it suits

This revolver fits shooters who want a hunting-style handgun in .357 Mag. The Picatinny rail lets you mount an optic, such as a red dot or a handgun scope, without adding a separate base. The rubber grips have a cushioned insert, which helps with comfort over a long range session.

For gear, plan on a good optic and mounting hardware if you want to use the rail. Pick up speedloaders or speed strips made for 7-shot revolvers. A holster or carry case needs to fit a long-barrel revolver. Eye and hearing protection are a must, especially with a ported barrel.
