Thompson/center Encore Pro Hunter Barrels, 8340R

Product Description

The Thompson/center Encore Pro Hunter Barrel 8340R is a barrel chambered in 450 Bushmaster. It is built for the Encore Pro Hunter and carries the manufacturer part number 8340R.

The main point of this barrel is the chambering. 450 Bushmaster is a straight-wall cartridge, so this barrel gives an Encore owner a way to run that round without buying a whole new gun. If you already own an Encore frame, a barrel swap is the simple route.

Who it suits

This barrel suits hunters who already shoot the Encore and want a 450 Bushmaster option. It also fits anyone putting together a 450 Bushmaster hunting rifle around an Encore frame. Check that your frame and the Pro Hunter name line up with what you own before you order. If you have a question about fit, ask us first.

Plan the rest of the setup around the barrel. You will want 450 Bushmaster ammunition, a scope and mounts that match your Encore, and a sling for carrying the rifle in the field. A cleaning kit with a bore brush in the right size keeps the barrel in good shape between trips. Use the part number 8340R or the UPC 810180300209 when you compare it with other listings, so you know you are looking at the same barrel.
