Thompson/center Encore Turkey Barrels, 6060R

Product Description

The Thompson/center Encore Turkey barrel, part number 6060R, is a replacement barrel for the Encore system, marked 20/24MC. The Turkey name tells you what it was built for: spring gobbler hunting with an Encore frame.

The big draw of the Encore design is that one frame can take different barrels. This is the barrel you add when turkey season is the goal. You keep the frame you already know and swap in a barrel set up for the job. The 20/24MC marking is how the barrel is coded, so use the part number 6060R when you match it to your order.

Who it suits

This barrel fits the hunter who already runs an Encore and wants a turkey-specific setup instead of a general-purpose barrel. It also suits anyone building out a multi-barrel Encore kit for different seasons. If you do not own an Encore frame yet, you will need one first, since this part is not a complete gun.

For gear, think turkey loads, a good sling, a turkey vest, calls, and a set of shooting sticks or a seat for long sits. If you plan to add sights or an optic, check how they mount before you order. The boxed shipping weight is 4.0 lbs. Check the part number against your needs and your frame before you buy.
